1960 Elva 200

"Since I was ten years old I wanted to be a race car driver. I got as far as a couple of go kart races before my parents put a premature ending to my budding racing career.

Flash forward 40 years: My wife gives me an introduction to racing at Skip Barber. That led me to getting my racing license and eventually to vintage racing. I've been doing this for 8 or 9 years now. The cars I've owned and  driven include a Ginetta G4, an Elva Courier, a Formula Ford and now a 1960 Elva 200 Formula Junior and a 1969 Ford Cortina. I pinch myself whenever I race because I'm living a dream... Though not getting paid for it!!

Professionally, I've worked in the music, travel and antique map businesses. Now happily retired and indulging in my passions of racing and photography. Of course, my family is my number one passion, but you can't drive family members!"
